- Weather: Cambodia is a region with a tropical climate. The day temperatures range from 30 °C (86 °F) in August to 33 °C (91 °F) in April. Sea temperatures are in the following range: 28 °C (82 °F) in January to 30 °C (87 °F) in May.
- January is the driest month is with just 4 days of rain, on the contrary, August is the month when it rains the most with 24 days of rain

Common Diseases:
- Travelers' Diarrhea. Diarrhea and foodborne infections in travelers are common in Cambodia
- Typhoid & Paratyphoid Fever.
Food:
- Cambodia has the regular aromatic rice, but also a delicious glutinous sticky rice. Other important starches include manioc, taro and sweet potatoes. If rice isn’t on the table, its place is taken by noodles. Cambodians love their greens: vegetables are served crisp and fresh, or wok-fried in curries, soups and stews. Spices, herbs, such as basil, mint, and coriander, rhizomes, dried fruits, flowers, and leaves flavor and garnish the food. While amok is sometimes called the country's national dish.

- Once your application is reviewed and an approval decision is made, we ask that you follow up within 1 week either confirming your commitment to joining the mission and submitting your registration fee or letting us know if unable to join.
- If you are a Canadian citizen, your payment process will be different. Please be on the lookout for more information once approved for the trip.
- Please do not purchase tickets for a flight until you have received confirmation from the Missions email account that you have been accepted for the mission.
- Although we list a closing date to submit your application on the website, if we have reached capacity prior to it, we will close the application process early. We do often receive a large group of applicants so please be sure to apply as early as possible to ensure you make it through the first step. Due to limited space, priority will be given to healthcare professionals, followed by healthcare students, followed by college students and servants. In the case of an excess number of student applicants, students can opt to be placed on a waiting list in case additional space opens up.
